YouTuber sells 6,000 replica toy cats and raises £80k for Mercy Ships

YouTube star Emma Cruises has now sold more than 6,000 replica toys of her co-presenter pet cat Captain Hudson and raised a whopping £80,000 for Mercy Ships. 
 
Emma, 29, has recently released version four of the toy, which fans have posed with in locations such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, Sydney Opera House and Big Ben.  
 
The YouTuber, who has more than 300,000 subscribers to her channel, is donating profits to Mercy Ships, after she heard about the charity on a podcast.  
 
She said:

“I just can’t believe how well it’s gone, people keep buying Captain Hudson toys and then sending in photos from around the world. We get several sent in every day. What a privilege to be able to support Mercy Ships and for my followers to hear about the charity too. 
 
“Captain Hudson is a popular figure… he gives high fives out on screen and the viewers love him. I need to be carefulbefore you know it, he will be more popular than me! I feel this is only the beginning for Captain Hudson, let’s see what’s next!”
