We don’t currently have any positions available, but check regularly if you are passionate about joining our team.

It’s an exciting time to join the team!

As we launch our five-year strategy, we are adding several roles to help us achieve our ambitious targets. We are looking to increase our income, and engage with new supporters, to maximise the opportunity to double our income.

Our goal is not only to have a transformational impact on individual lives through the healthcare we provide but also to see a lasting impact on the societies and communities that have been involved. Sharing our skills and knowledge with local medical experts enables them to contribute directly to the improvement of healthcare delivery in their country long after we have left.

If this tremendous opportunity interests you, and if you believe you have the right skills and passion, then we would love to hear from you.

Mercy Ships uses hospital ships to deliver accessible, free surgery and vital medical care for those in unjust poverty and urgent need. Our supporters and partners are creating a legacy of sustainable healthcare; investing in infrastructure and mentoring local professionals. All this is done through the unique mobilisation of skilled volunteers in partnership with developing nations, motivated by a Christian ethos.

Our part within the wider family of Mercy Ships

Mercy Ships UK plays a crucial role within the global Mercy Ships family, providing resources (predominantly revenue and personnel) to operate our fleet of hospital ships. Our culture also plays an important role – we operate with integrity, excellence and respect, each being passionately responsible for ensuring every beneficiary receives excellent service.

Devotional

Our behavioural commitments

Mercy Ships values are clear and focused on the type of organisation we want to be: one that loves God, loves and serves others, and is staffed with people of integrity and excellence in all we say and do.

To see this realised we commit to a set of attitudes and behaviours that help us to achieve our goals as one team and challenge ourselves to constantly reflect on how we can be better individually and collectively.
