Transform a child’s life, like Mamadou’s

Mamadou was born almost blind with cataracts in both eyes. His vision is so hazy, that all he can see is shadow and light. It hurts to open his eyes outside.

Thankfully, in the UK, anyone with cataracts can have free surgery. It’s a quick, pain-free operation. But in Sierra Leone, Mamadou’s chances of getting medical help were stacked against him. Hospitals are poorly equipped, and eye doctors are extremely rare.

Will you give the gift of sight to a child like Mamadou? You could help provide free eye surgery for a child on our hospital ship.

This summer, every £1 you give will be doubled to £2. With your help, more children can open their eyes to see a brighter tomorrow. Give now.
