Mercy Ships operates the world’s largest charity hospital ship and you will help make a lifelong difference, one by one, supporting Mercy Ships surgeons, doctors, nurses and other specialists who volunteer to help provide operations free of charge, treating those with no other hope of healing.

Dublin Marathon – 29th October 2012
Endearingly named the ‘Friendly Marathon’, the Dublin Marathon is known internationally for its warm welcome and enthusiastic spectators. Join the amazing atmosphere and run alongside the great and the good through the historic Georgian streets of Dublin’s Fair City. Try something different, and raise funds for our hospital ship.

Silverstone Half Marathon – 11th March 2012
Get on the tracks of Lewis Hamilton and David Coulthard, run the new Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone and clock up a half marathon of 13.1 Miles for Mercy! A fantastic run brought to you by the same team that organises the Virgin London Marathon. Held at the historic Silverstone motor race circuit, the race is flat and fast making it a great challenge for all half marathon novices, as well as a marathon warm up for others.
Join the runners bringing hope and healing to thousands of people in desperate need in some of the world’s poorest countries.

THE BIG FUN RUN 2011
Come and join in the fun with family and friends to support Mercy Ships at one of the Big Fun Run events taking place through the UK from August through to October 2011.
Whether you want to stroll, walk, jog or run – a BIG FUN RUN event is perfect for you and the whole family. The distance of each Fun Run is just 5km and every venue is a carefully selected scenic, safe and pleasant park environment.
There are 13 Big Fun Run from Milton Keynes (28th August) to Glasgow (29th October) and from Cardiff (27th August) or Derby (20th August) to London (2nd October) or Edinburgh (23rd October) and many more.
